Just saw a good friend of mines 200s last night...he was telling me how much he loves driving it. It reminded me that most people don't realize that a former SRT engineer developed the 200. We designers are responsible for its class leading 0.27 drag coefficient and in IMHO the most contemporary interior in the segment. The 200 has driving character and that came from our engineering team, who gave it some attributes that should make former SRT4 owners (who are grown up-ish now)...like me...look twice. It rides on a stretched Alfa Romeo Giulietta platform...Which means it has a very European style driving character (tight)! A fully independent, isolated multi link aluminum rear suspension, optional 295hp V6 with a suspiciously raucous exhaust.,,easy low 6 second 0-60s, nicely bolstered seats, optional sport leather seats, nice chunky steering wheel, thumping sound system, a great tech sweet and available AWD....which when in Sport mode uses a wet clutch system to create a 60% rearward bias. So it has a very fun drift able nature near the limit...I would love to see what it could do with R compounds! Doesn't hurt that IIHS rated the only American sedan to get top safety pick plus : ) yeah I am selling hard. Having Driven a 2016 with a variety of upgrades a few weeks ago...this machine deserve a second look from Mopar fans looking for a fun winter daily.
