Well, this is a bittersweet announcement but in my mind, more sweet than bitter. My dearest of friends, @iamzacclark, is about to embark fully on his pursuit of the music that moves him most. Those of you who follow me closely know that Zac is a rare and talented breed of songsmith. A truth teller in the best way. He has generously devoted so much of his life and time to supporting me in the pursuit of my dreams. The world of the Wilderness comes with an open door and the blessing of that door is the brilliant people who walk through it. But that door works both ways and those who walk through must also walk out when their soul calls them to do so. Zac has been dividing his time between The Wilderness and his own ambitions for years now and the day has finally come where he is ready to focus solely on his career. It will be a great loss to take the stage without him but also a great joy to know that he is taking the stage he deserves and has earned through his brilliant work as a craftsman and performer. I urge all of you who have yet to spend time with his music to do so and support him has he ventures out into a wilderness all his own. You will not be disappointed. We will celebrate Zac’s last show this November 11th and I look forward to wishing him well from the stage on one of my favorite nights of music, supporting the @dearjackhq. He was kind enough to let me throw some harmonies on it and I think it is a fitting farewell, though I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot of each other down the road.
