After lots of consideration I have decided to leave Crippled Black Phoenix. There are things about the way this band operates that have started to cause too much negative stress for me. This has built up over time and ultimately made me realize I need a change to not burn out and loose the will to do what I love most in life, to record and perform music. It's been an amazing ride that I'll never forget! Some of my personal highlights have been playing the Roadburn Festival twice, the Bloodmoon tour with Converge & Chelsea Wolfe, playing with Deep Purple and the amazing Balver Hölve cave in Germany to name a few. Good times! The studio sessions has always been some of my favorite moments and I will miss that for sure. I am proud to have been a part of the last 4 albums and various EPs. Thanks to everyone that has shown love and support along the way and for making our shows such an amazing experience every time. I wish Crippled Black Phoenix all the success they deserve in the future and I'm sure they will find a good replacement, they always do! I also would like to thank all the bands we've toured with, promoters , friends I've made along the way, Season of Mist, Doomstar bookings, Ula @ Clandestine music and Zoltan for all the hard work!Without you it would not have been possible. New adventures awaits, there are plenty of music related things happening down the line and this is only the beginning. Looking forward to a brighter tomorrow  Daniel Änghede
