The other day, someone asked me why I look happy in my photos in the months post-divorce (yes someone actually asked me that and then dared to think my marriage had been fake). I’m going to give you the same answer I gave them - because life is too short and I choose to live my life to the fullest. There will be ups and downs. There will be joy and there will be heartbreak. Was it easy at first? Heck no. I still have moments to this day that aren’t easy. But I’m not going to sulk around for months and months. That’s not how I want to live my life. I’m in a very good place and I am extremely happy. Sure my life is chaotic at the moment with so much going on and a lot of changes happening in my life over the last year, but none of that takes away from my happiness.
