Dory was released on Sunday after being in care for 89 days at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre. She was released with a tag, and you can now track her movement.
Dory was born on July 20th, the first pup to be born at the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre.
Her mom, Donnelly, was rescued off the shores of Indian Arm, after being hit by a boat, and completely losing her vision.
Donnelly who is now in stable condition, has been transferred to the Vancouver Aquarium.
Thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers at MMR who have worked tirelessly to ensure yet another successful release!
