Ring the alarm: The Nashville Tennessean and USA TODAY network have hired Caché McClay the inaugural Beyoncé Knowles-Carter reporter. In her new role, McClay, a Cleveland, Ohio, native, will focus on all things Beyoncé – from her fanbase, the BeyHive, to her influence on fashion, music and culture – in her new role. McClay recalls growing up in a Beyoncé household: "My mother and sister are fans,” she said. “More than playing music, Beyoncé’s impact has shown us the possibilities are endless.” Prior to being named the USA TODAY Network's first Beyoncé Knowles-Carter reporter, McClay worked as a writer and digital producer at Hearst Television, NBC News and BBC News.
