Amber Wilsondebriano, a senior at Porter-Gaud High School in Charleston, South Carolina, has a 4.66 GPA and is a co-founder of several clubs. Now, she's adding another achievement to her resume: homecoming queen. And in winning the honor, she also became her school's first Black homecoming queen in its 155-year history. "When I was nominated, I didn't feel confident I would win," she said. "When the day came and my name was called, I was relieved and honored because I knew I was a part of history."
