The Gaza Strip, one of the smallest territories in the world, may soon become a bloody battleground as Israeli Defense Forces strike back against Hamas for its brutal, hostage-taking attack on Israel.     Gaza is at the center of the Israeli-Palestinian hostility, which has existed since the creation of Israel in 1948.
