Type 2 diabetes can be found in the mountains of Colorado, the fields of Mississippi, the inner city Philadelphia, and everywhere in between.
Across America people grapple with a disease that comes with expensive medications, rigorous nutrition guidelines and most of all — a lack of help in preventing and treating their diabetes.
While roughly 1 in 3 Americans – 96 million adults – have prediabetes, just 2% to 3% are offered the kind of help shown to prevent progression to full-blown disease.
