For anyone who has visited Las Vegas since construction began on Sphere at the Venetian Resort in 2019, there's no mistaking the giant black orb nestled just a half-mile east of the Strip, a district that already features a castle, a pyramid, a miniature New York City and other distinctive landmarks.   Sphere sits east of the Venetian Resort complex and its Expo Center, with a pedestrian walkway connecting them.
