President Joe Biden announced his candidacy for re-election on Tuesday, which if successful would make him the oldest elected president in U.S. history.
If he wins the 2024 election as the Democratic candidate and serves out his entire term, he would be 86 years old at the end of his presidency in January 2029.
To be sure, there’s little to suggest that Biden, who turned 80 in November, has been limited by his age, but it’s interesting to note that he’s already outlived 33 of 45 of the country's former presidents.
Here's a look Biden’s longevity as a member of the White House – from two terms as a vice president to his current presidency. Visit the link in bio for more.
