A New York man has set a new record for the heaviest pumpkin in U.S. history, growing a squash that weighed 2,554 pounds. 🎃 The record-breaking feat was recorded Saturday afternoon at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, less than 20 miles east of Buffalo. Scott Andrusz of nearby Williamsville grew the pumpkin in hopes of breaking the New York state record, which was 2,517 pounds, The Buffalo News reported. The U.S. record had belonged to a New Hampshire man who grew a 2,528-pound pumpkin in 2018, according to The Boston Globe.
