The most common word used to describe the encounters: “creepy.” While some incidents didn’t amount to assault, they were alarming enough to make people feel vulnerable in their own homes. Some people reported the incident to the company, police, or both – but many had to navigate the company’s maze of contacts or received little to no follow up.
