Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz joined six other baseball icons to be inducted Sunday into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The other members of this year's Hall of Fame class were Twins outfielder Tony Oliva, pitcher Jim Kaat; Buck O'Neil, the face of Negro League baseball; Brooklyn Dodgers great Gil Hodges; Bud Fowler, the first Black professional player; and Minnie Miñoso, the first known Black Latino player in the majors. O'Neil, Hodges, Miñoso and Fowler were inducted posthumously.
