Betty Jo McClain Thomas, an active 83-year-old from Irving, Texas, was supposed to spend the evening with family for a Christmas and birthday dinner. She didn’t show up. When her family went to check on her, they found Thomas on her living room floor, stabbed to death. Through investigations and footage from her Ring doorbell camera, police learned that the last person to see Thomas alive was a Spectrum cable repairman, who arrived in a company van even though he was off the clock.
