America's youngest children could soon have access to a COVID-19 vaccine made by Moderna. The vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech is expected to be recommended for the youngest kids later this afternoon. The expert panel on Wednesday unanimously found Moderna's vaccine safe and provided protection against COVID-19. If its decision is upheld by the FDA's commissioner and then the CDC, vaccines will be available for young children as soon as Tuesday.
