A dog shelter in Ohio lost power amid blazing heat. The community showed up to keep the pups cool. The Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center in Columbus, Ohio lost power on Tuesday and created a Facebook post asking for the community to bring ice. "We need your help. The power is out here at the shelter, and our pups needs ice to keep cool in this blazing heat!," the post said. Soon after, dozens of people from the community brought them hundreds of bags of ice. As of Wednesday morning, the shelter said power was restored. 📸 Barbara J. Perenic, @columbusdispatch #heatwave #shelterdog
