President Biden laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery on Monday, as the nation honored members of the U.S. military who died during service to the nation on Memorial Day. First lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were also in attendance. Monday also marked the seventh anniversary of the death of Biden’s veteran son Beau, who died of brain tumor in 2015.
