Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger survived former President Donald Trump's wrath to win the GOP nomination for the state's chief election officer, according to ABC and NBC. Raffensperger is expected to clear the 50% threshold required to avoid a runoff against Rep. Jody Hice, who was recruited by Trump to run in the primary. Hice, who often repeated Trump's "Big Lie" about a stolen election in Georgia and other states Biden won, jousted with Raffensperger over the election results for much of the campaign.
