Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher hit back at Alabama coach Nick Saban over claims that the Aggies "bought every player" in a recruiting class. "It's despicable that a reputable head coach can come out and say this when he doesn't get his way or things don't go his way," Fisher said Thursday morning. "The narcissistic in him doesn't allow those things to happen. It's ridiculous, when he's not on top." While promoting the World Games 2022 on Wednesday, Saban referenced Texas A&M's top-ranked recruiting class, one spot ahead of Alabama's. "A&M bought every player on their team. Made a deal for name, image and likeness," Saban said. "We didn’t buy one player." The two teams – and coaches – will meet on October 8, when Alabama hosts Texas A&M.
