People around the world are protesting Russia's invasion of Ukraine and speaking up.
From Canada, Costa Rica, and South Korea, demonstrations are popping up as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine.
At least 240 civilian casualties are confirmed by the United Nations, including at least 64 people killed in the fighting — though it believed the “real figures are considerably higher” because many reports of casualties remain to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, the United States and its European allies agreed to remove “selected” Russian banks from the international SWIFT messaging system, which allows for the movement of financial transactions.
