Jake Angeli, the Phoenix man who joined the riot of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 with his face painted and his head topped with a fur hat with horns was sentenced to 41 months in prison. Given the 11 months he has already served since his January arrest, Angeli will serve about 2½ more years in a federal prison. The judge said he expected it would be a minimum security unit. Before the judge passed sentence, Angeli addressed the court for about 30 minutes and accepted responsibility for his crime. But said he was not a danger to society. "I may be guilty of this crime, absolutely," he said. "But I am in no way, shape or form a dangerous criminal. I'm not a domestic terrorist. I'm not an insurrectionist.
