The last soldier to leave Afghanistan. Nearly 20 years after the first U.S. troops set foot on Afghanistan soil, Major Gen. Chris Donahue became the last military service member to depart the country Monday. Donohue, with a Kabul airport hangar behind him, climbed aboard the final Air Force aircraft carrying U.S. forces to leave the country.
