A military strike Friday targeted an ISIS-K planner in an apparent drone attack, the first American attack on the terrorist group following Thursday's bomb attack in Kabul, the Pentagon announced. "U.S. military forces conducted an over-the-horizon counterterrorism operation today against an ISIS-K planner," Navy Capt. Bill Urban, a Central Command spokesman, said in a statement. "The unmanned airstrike occurred in the Nangahar Province of Afghanistan. Initial indications are that we killed the target. We know of no civilian casualties." #afghanistan #breakingnews
