The Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul was a scene of chaos and desperation Monday. People jumping onto and into airplaines, rushing the tarmac, trying to board evacuation flights, all in attempts to flee the country after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan's capital. At least seven people have died. Senior U.S. military officials say the dead include some who fell from a departing American military transport jet, according to the AP.
