U.S. golfer Nelly Korda, 23, won gold in the women’s golf competition. Korda finished with a 2-under-par 69, dropping her to 17 under for the tournament. She stalled on holes 14 through 17, making par on each, and Japan's Mone Inami birdied the 17th to grab a share of the lead. On the final hole, Inami bogeyed and Korda finished with par, which was enough to claim gold in her first Olympics.
