Seventy years after Jim Crow laws blocked Martha Tucker from trying on wedding dresses, she finally was able to fulfill the dream at age 94. Tucker, who was not allowed into Alabama bridal stores when she got married in 1952, was finally able to try on dresses after her granddaughter overheard her desire to do so. From there, Tucker's family helped make the dream a reality, setting up an appointment at a local David's Bridal store. "My dream has come true, and I don’t need to try on any more," Tucker said, after trying on dresses. 📸: Courtesy of Angela Strozier
