Nashville Predators prospect Luke Prokop became the first openly gay player in NHL history, after publicly coming out in an Instagram post Monday. In the post, the 19-year-old defenseman said he hopes "that in sharing who I am I can help other people see that gay people are welcome in the hockey community."
