Ashworth’s brother, Tucker Ashworth (June 3, 1954 — May 30, 1987) — pictured second left — died of AIDS, age 32.

Born in Bronxville, New York, Ashworth attended @tuftsuniversity and @ucberkeleyofficial. He joined Donadio & Associates in 1980 before becoming a partner in the agency in 1989, which was renamed Donadio & Ashworth.

Ashworth, who’s clients included Leon Bing, Darryl Pinckney and Mark Salzman, retired in 1992 having contracted pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) that had left him paralyzed.

Ashworth’s former parter, Craig Musser, son of the philanthropist Pete Musser, died of AIDS in 1990.
An artist and @Harvard graduate, Musser had worked as a model in Manhattan before contracting AIDS in 1984. The 1997 @HBO mini-series ‘In the Gloaming’ is said to be based on the Musser family.
