I posted an ad on @lex.app one evening, and it just so happened that @bekahdc couldn’t sleep that night, and had unknowingly turned off the distance filter. She liked the ad, then recognized my username, and wrote to me. I responded once, but then stopped, having decided to only pursue local people (I was in LA and she in Phoenix). But she kept writing, and something about her and the way she wrote intrigued me. We finally met on Dec 21st. We were together for three days, and I changed my flight home for the holidays so I could get a few more hours with her. Our 2nd date was also three days long when she joined me and my friends in Death Valley for New Year’s. Our 3rd date was me flying to Phoenix to surprise her, and then her driving back to LA with me. It lasted 10 days. Our 4th date was 16 days, and included me spontaneously deciding to fly back to Phoenix with her. We started our 5th date on March 6th and ... well, it isn’t over yet. We’re due to be married on our one year anniversary. When you know, you know.
