So proud of you @littleluna for this release! It was a pleasure creating this work of art with you and @matthew.pauling 🌼 I’ve been inspired by artists like @boniver to pledge 5% of my publishing royalties annually to support causes like gender equality, racial justice, helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and more. I hope as others do the same, that more artists, labels, PROs, agencies, industries, and corporations will follow suit. I recognize that I have ample privilege and a small platform to help, so for each song release of mine, I will highlight a different organization/individual. The first one I’m sharing is @amanecerla. They empower underserved kids, adults, and domestic abuse victims to overcome barriers and significant life challenges through culturally competent, comprehensive mental health, psychiatric, and case management services. I’ve been honored to work with them through the pandemic to aid in providing safe housing for families in the Los Angeles area.
