I am the hopeful one. It’s a core trait. Today was hard on that hope. I refilled my soul marching in the Trans March here in San Francisco but the pain and anger is real and deep throughout my friends, loved ones, and allies. Silence equals death was the rallying cry of a dying generation. We must continue to cry out on days like today or the silence will be deafening.
