8 years ago I started my make up career back up here in Montana. I thought after 10 years of doing it in LA, Portland, and Seattle, I was burnt out to the point of no return, so I did other stuff for income while the boys were young. However, and I know this sounds cheesy, but it’s true, I dreamed about having someone in my make up chair, and thought, well? What if there IS makeup work here? So I got a few of the trade magazines to see what “the kids these days are using,” bought some product, put together a little photo shoot, and landed a music video within two months. Then Lily Gladstone told me to go to the film maker meetup at the Montana Film Festival, and I met some of my best friends in the biz here. After that it snowballed and I’ve been, with the support of countless Montana Filmmakers and photographers, working as consistently as is sometimes possible in this industry. I’m so grateful. I thank you all for everything. Thank you for helping me be a better artist and a better professional.
