Can’t post any pics from work so here’s a large and strange mushroom to say: That’s a wrap on Season 4! This crew is family, and I actually mean it. Some of us have done this incredibly hard job together for 4 years, and we have developed so much respect, support, and admiration for each other it’s heartfelt and real. As for my department in particular: Nancy my love, my buddy, my girl, you go refill that bag of fucks and bacon. Thank you for having the brain when it was your turn to use it. You’re my ride or die. Ciara, thanks for the fuckin affirmations and your incredible artistry, sparkle, and hard work. Laura, thank you for being the rock you are, and for your talent and grace with being thrown (almost literally!) into new territory and seeming like you’ve been doing it for years. Casey, one day only but such great work that you kicked off the season for us with joy. We were filthy dirty, eaten alive by mosquitoes, rained on, horribly hot, lugged our department around to a gazzilion locations, were stupid exhausted, had foxtail ridden socks, headaches from dehydration, fell in holes, tripped over logs, inhaled much smoke and dust till our sinuses cried for mercy, dragged a heavy ass cart full of stuff up and down mountains, were stabbed with catci, and attacked by bees. And we managed to keep our sense of humor intact and keep on keepin on. And we made something gorgeous, that we should all be extremely proud of. Worth it? Hell yes.
