“Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.”
SO - here’s what to do. Sit somewhere quiet, grab your journal and a pen, and close your eyes. Envision the super hero - “Ultimate You (insert your name.)” What do you look like? How are you dressed? How do you FEEL? What do you say in hard situations? How do you handle people around you who are negative? What do you choose when something triggers you, how do you respond instead of react? Get really really deep with this, and also play and have fun with it! Don't think realistically at all - imagine if there were no limitations. And if any unhelpful or doubtful thoughts come up while you’re doing this, say “No thank you, I'm the decider now” and let them dissolve.
See Ultimate you from outside yourself, then be them. Hang out feeling this wonderful Ultimate You. You already accomplished everything you set out to do! You already arrived! You are so grateful, so happy, so at ease, so strong, so healthy! You shine so brightly, you light everyone up who comes near you.
Hang out here for a while, then as soon as you open your eyes - write out who Ultimate You is, in present tense, in first person, immediately.
“I am so grateful that I have - I am - I do - I feel . . .”
Now, listen closely -
That piece of paper in your journal is what is really, really TRUE about you. It’s who you were before life gave you imprints and messages and beliefs and stories that you created patterns and habits from. It’s YOU, at your very source. It’s YOU, as you were always meant to be, and it’s YOU who have always been there, and just needed to be uncovered, like pulling layers off an onion. It’s Ultimate YOU, it IS you!!
Now that you have this truth about who you are, every time you are in a moment where an old reaction or habit might come up - STOP and ask yourself - What Would Ultimate You Do? W.W.U.Y.D.? And DO THAT.
With neural plasticity on our side, you will be more and more naturally Ultimate YOU!
