Busy day, messy house - got my workout in!
Why? Why not just clean, or put my feet up?
Because I know that what my body and mind need on stressful days, busy days, every day - is exercise.
Because when I take care of myself and when my mental and physical health comes first, the busy, stressful days don’t feel so stressful. I’m kinder to everyone around me, I’m more focused and productive, I celebrate my accomplishments throughout the day.
The benefits of exercise are so much more than shaping my body.
The hormone balance and boosts achieved, and the mental and physical strength I gain, make me a better mom, partner, friend, coach, model, everything.
So I make time for it, like I make time for brushing my teeth. It benefits me, and everyone and everything around me, too.
