I ordered this book online back in October or November 2022 because I had stuff going on in my life that mirrored this lady’s own life; anyway the book has been on my bedside table since it arrived in the post and then I saw a YouTube video about this woman again and decided to crack it open finally - I’m now on chapter 4 and I am just baffled by how our lives are so similar; from accepting who she was as a black woman to the point that she used to wish that she was called ‘Samantha’ and when I was a little girl, we’re going back to when I was 8 or 9, I would tell people my name was ‘Samantha’ 😯 #AminahHart #HowIMetYourFather
