At the recent 2023 MIT Black Graduate Celebration, 93 MIT undergraduate and graduate soon-to-be alumni were honored for their achievements at the Institute. The event included remarks from student speakers Naylah Canty and Jonathan Tagoe ’21 , a dance performance by @sakata_afrique, and a keynote address by US Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley who concluded by urging honorees, “wherever you find yourself or wherever life’s journey takes you, let joy be your home.
