“We met in physics recitation our sophomore year, but there's a twist,” writes Richard Karash '68, SM '74, pictured with Karla (Hurst) Karash '68, SM '70, PhD '83. “The Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper publishes National Merit Scholarship winners each spring and notes their destination college. Our photos were side by side in the paper. Each of us noticed the other and commented, ‘Well, maybe the social scene won't be so bad after all!’” Richard and Karla will be getting together with friends and classmates to celebrate their 55th reunion at Tech Reunions, June 1-4, 2023.
