With the goal of creating connection and camaraderie across generations of alumni, MIT Class of 1999 president Christine Kornylak, Pooja Devendran ’99, and several other alumni started the Alumni Helping Alumni program, a virtual pen pal program connecting alumni across generations. While the initial purpose was to check in on older alumni that might be dealing with the social isolation brought on by the pandemic, the benefits have been mutual. More at the link in the bio.
