Since the Covid-19 crisis began in early March, hundreds of members of the MIT community have virtually joined together for a series of hackathons to develop concrete solutions like designing a portable N95 sterilizing devices to using CRISPR technology for improved Covid-19 testing. The hackathons are part of the MIT Covid-19 Challenge. Co-organizer Freddy T.
