This is a “conlang” (constructed language) alphabet created by one of the students of 24.917 Constructed Languages, led by Professor Norvin Richards PhD ’97. Richards teaches students the building blocks of linguistics, so that students can create their own conlangs, such as languages for spaceships to speak together or underwater creatures that speak in shades of color.
