Inspired by the intricate webs of the South American cyrtaphora citricola spider, the new multimedia performance and exhibit Spider’s Canvas/Arachnodrone by Christine Southworth '02 and Isabelle Su MNG '15 invites visitors to literally step into the installation and control the views and sound from inside the spider’s web. Also on the team are MIT’s Head of Music and Theater Arts Evan Ziporyn, Music Technology Lecturer Ian Hattwick, and Civil and Environmental Engineering Head Marcus Buehler.
