For some reason, I’ve sat on the idea of this post for years....literally, YEARS! Not sure why - maybe fear that this would “close the door,” maybe because we savor what privacy we get, maybe at the risk of not wanting to be vulnerable.....I’m honestly not sure.
However, there’s no reason not posting could trump the possibility of my struggles helping someone else.
It’s National Infertility Week so I decided to bite the bullet. There are millions of women, including myself, who struggle with infertility. When all you’ve ever wanted in life is to become a mommy, this issue can be beyond heartbreaking, confusing, frustrating, saddening, maddening, etc....It’s an emotional roller coaster that’s difficult to get off.
I am BEYOND grateful for God allowing me to be a Mommy to my sweet angel. I realize this isn’t the case for everyone. Personally, though struggling with a nonexistent AMH (hormone), getting pregnant on the first time, via IVF, seemed simple. Everything after was the EXACT opposite! When K was 7 months, we started trying again. 13 rounds of IVF (this picture doesn’t do justice to the amount of needles used) & 3 miscarriages later, I still yearn for more babies. However, I know that as soon as I enter the gates of Heaven, my babies will be there to meet me!
In a matter of 1 week, we saw 3 rainbows, 1 double & a rainbow cloud (which I’d never even heard of). No coincidence that they represent a sign from angels communicating to you, a sign of hope, promise & inspiration!
For those who are struggling or may know someone who’s struggling, don’t lose hope. There’s always a greater plan! Happy National Infertility Week! Prayers to all affected....💜👏🏼🌈👼🏼👼🏼👼🏼 #infertility #infertilityawareness #blessedlife #blessed #rainbow #GodsPromises
