MD Talent Added to the Back Line⠀ ⠀ D Jake Dengler signs for 2021⠀ ⠀ Baltimore, MD native Jake Dengler signs on for 2021. Dengler brings success to the club, playing in the DMV since his youth soccer days. He won a USYSA State Cup, Regional, National Championship with @pipelinesoccerclub in 2016, captaining Pipeline to its first National Championship. He earned 2016-17 USSDA Best XI honors and Captained @baltimorearmour to its first playoff appearance and No. 8 national ranking.⠀ ⠀ In college, he played for @ccbcessexsports , playing 20 games in one season, finished second on the team with 11 goals and 25 points, earned NJCAA All-America, United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team, Region XX First Team and Maryland JUCO First team honors while winning a All Region XX Championship and Maryland JUCO Championship with the Knights. ⠀ ⠀ He then transferred to @loyolamsoc, playing and starting in all 16 matches at center back, being named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Second Team. ⠀ ⠀ He ended his collegiate career at @uconnmsoc, playing and starting in 17 games where he finished the season tied fourth on team with six points (2g, 2a). ⠀ ⠀ He also spent time with @fcbaltimorechristos in the NPSL. ⠀ ⠀ Last year, Dengler was with DC United for preseason before signing and playing for their USL affiliate @loudoununitedfc in 2020. ⠀ ⠀ Please join us in welcoming Jake to the club!⠀ ⠀ #ForAll
