We replaced this old running trap on a sewer main in Luverne this week that has been having issues. Generally these running traps have a clean out on both the inlet and the outlet of the trap but on this one the outlet clean out was buried and cemented over. This leaves no way to clean the sewer all the way to the street so we removed the trap and put a new clean out in its place. After getting the new pipe in we could get the machine through the sewer to the street removing the blockage. It was nice of the plumbers to put the main 4’ in the ground 100 years ago. They must’ve liked digging!
