We just completed this large waterline replacement job and we’re glad it’s done! There was 873’ of galvanized steel pipe that was all cut into short pieces and drug out of 5 separate tunnels. The pipe was over 60 years old and was replaced with all new type L copper lines. The old pipe was very corroded on the inside and had leaks everywhere. There was 129 fittings and 11 valves we installed. No more yellowish orange colored water in their water fixtures!
