What was the thinking behind this, @theeconomist ? A leading political magazine either: 1) graphically erased the Palestinian flag from view, or 2) chose the more viral image of the protest with the Palestinian flag. Whatever the decision, they chose an image that hid the centrality of Gaza from the student-led movement. The decision to suppress Palestine is clear, despite its significance to the freedom movement in #Bangladesh. Every journalistic decision is a political one. #Dhaka #journalism
