From the time I was 2 years old I have loved playing this game of hockey, and have been lucky enough to continue playing for 35 years. Along the road there have been many hurdles to over come. Good times and bad times. But the game has never changed. The passion for the game always stayed the same. The competitiveness of the game was always something I loved. The rush of making a big play or scoring a big goal is an unbelievable feeling that can’t be replaced by anything else. The comradery with my team mates everyday on and off the ice will be missed. This game has given me so much and taught me even more, and I will always be grateful for the experiences that I have had along the way. The time has come that I must step away from this game and start a new chapter in my life. It’s scary and exciting all at the same time, but I have accepted the fact that it is time. I would have never been able to have the career that I have without all the support from my family. Erica, you always saw the best in me and helped me through the worst of times. The support you have showed me has kept me going all these years, and I never ever would have been able to do this without you. Living this hockey life is not easy and I know I could have never done it with anyone else. Austin, Karter, Chloe, you guys have been so strong for all these years and have pushed me to be my best everyday. I can’t wait to spend everyday with all of you. To my Mom, my Grandma, my father in law, mother in law, and all of our friends...thank you for helping me and and my family through this hockey life. My time in Klagenfurt has been special, for our whole family. The support and confidence that the organization, fans, and city has shown my family and I has been amazing. We truly think of Klagenfurt as our second home and will always feel that way. To be able to wear the KAC Jersey has been an honor for me. I want to thank the entire board, city, and KAC organization for there support during my time here. I am grateful for the time
