HOUGANG UNITED SIGN AFIQ NOOR FROM COURT YOUNG LIONS The club has signed 23-year-old midfielder Afiq Mat Noor from the Young Lions. Formerly of SAFFC prime league, he had represented Singapore in 2012 in the regional finals of the Nike "The Chance" which were held in Jakarta, Indonesia; together with his counter-parts Faris Ramli and Sim Li Ming. He made his senior debut for Courts Young Lions on 20 Feburary 2013, and has since stamped his authority as one of the key components of the CYL midfield, making a total 51 career appearance for the cubs between 2013-2015. He was also captain for the Under-21 National Team that took part in the Vietnam Youth Newspaper Cup in October of 2015. Afiq Noor can be described as non-nonsense playmaker who enjoys box-to-box running antics with his comrades. Hougang United is glad to have Afiq Noor joined the Cheetahs!
